Delivery Driver (Secret Clearance Required)

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport government equipment to different locations as per program requirements.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of assets while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with a team member to efficiently load and unload equipment, utilizing appropriate tools and equipment such as pallet jacks.
• Maintain delivery logs and documentation, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues or concerns.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as DOT regulations, at all times.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a delivery driver, preferably in a commercial or government setting.
• Valid DOT certification with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50lbs, and operate a pallet jack.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Flexibility to work collaboratively with a team member and independently as needed.
• Familiarity with Remedy software is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $25.00 - 27.00 per hour
