Position Summary

The Delivery Supervisor is responsible for the quality and efficiency of the delivery departments and their operations.
In this high impact role, you will serve as a liaison between long term care facilities and delivery staff. You will train all transport personnel.
In this role you will:

  • Coordinate work schedules and delivery routes
  • Monitor work flow to analyze patterns and trends
  • Review and set standards for staff
  • If needed; Provide timely and accurate delivery of medication, equipment, products and/or supplies into long term care facilities or patient's homes
  • Conduct routing staff meetings
  • Attend management meetings as required
  • The Delivery Supervisor is responsible for the quality and efficiency of the delivery departments operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Driver's license in good standing and a clean driving record
  • Possess strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to solve problems
  • Excellent communication skills and work well with other employees
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license
  • Ability to use routing software (if applicable)
  • Ability to drive a standard transmission IF necessary.
  • Customer service orientation

Physical Requirements:

  • Sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day.
  • Sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day.
  • Lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds.
  • Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required.
  • Visual acuity to see and read fine prints. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to hear normal voice sounds.
  • May be necessary to work extended hours as needed.

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,888.00 - $93,574.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
