About the Team

Our peer support team is composed of dedicated professionals who work collaboratively to provide comprehensive support to our clients. We handle a variety of responsibilities, including case management, crisis intervention, and discharge planning, all aimed at promoting wellness and independence.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with clinical team members to provide case management services to Adult Day Center and Department of Labor (DOL) Peer Apprentice Program participants.
  • Offer crisis intervention and stabilization for clients in emergency situations, ensuring appropriate follow-up care.
  • Develop therapeutic relationships with clients to support their recovery and success.
  • Participate in discharge planning to enhance clients' ability to maintain treatment changes and utilize community resources.
  • Provide training groups aligned with the DOL Peer Apprentice Program.
  • Mentor new staff members to support their success in the field.

  • Salary Range: $47,373 – $61,307 Depending on Experience
  • Benefits: Eligible for up to $14,000 in incentive with the average being $5,500

What We Need from You

  • Bachelor’s degree in a human-services field or equivalent experience
  • DBH Approved Intro to Peer Support 37.5 Hour Training within 90 days of hire
  • ACBHC PSP II/III Certified within 180 days of hire
  • Ability to work with an interdisciplinary team
  • Strong crisis intervention skills
  • Knowledge of community resources
  • Proficiency in computer skills
  • Possession of a valid Alaska Driver’s License and satisfactory driving record
