Registered Nurse – (Part-Time with Travel)

Location: Houston, TX

Days of Coverage: Saturday and Sunday (8 - 12 hours)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide personalized nursing care to a private client. This part-time role requires working three days per week and involves travel to accompany the patient to various locations. The ideal candidate will have experience in home health care or similar settings and must be committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform initial patient assessments and monitor health status while providing direct nursing care.

- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor responses to treatment.

- Assist with daily living activities and ensure the patient's comfort at all times.

- Travel with the patient to various locations, ensuring continuous care and handling any medical needs during trips.

- Communicate effectively with family members and other healthcare professionals involved in the patient’s care.

- Maintain accurate and detailed health care records and reports.

- Educate patients and families on health care needs, conditions, and options.

Qualifications:

- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.

- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in home health, geriatrics, or acute care.

- Excellent clinical skills with the ability to work independently in a home care setting.

- Strong organizational and communication skills.

- Flexible and willing to travel as part of the job.

- CPR certified; additional certification in geriatric care or palliative care is a plus.
