Job Description

RIVUS Consulting LLC is an established small business that provides environmental and engineering consulting services to state and municipal clients. RIVUS specializes in environmental planning, water resources engineering, ecosystem restoration, flood hazard mitigation, green infrastructure, and program/construction management. Responsibilities

Coordinating with the client and subconsultants
Preparing scoping documents
Organizing environmental team activities
Field investigation including wetland and stream delineations and assessments, forest delineations, and/or habitat surveys.
Post-construction and maintenance monitoring of stormwater best management practices and stream restoration projects.
Environmental construction monitoring
Water quality monitoring
NEPA compliance and environmental permit reports and documentation.
GIS analysis and mapping, field GPS data collection; and geo-processing.
Data analysis and documentation
Technical reports.
Coordination with state & local agencies.
Compliance with federal, state, and local environmental permits, regulations, and policies.
Other duties as assigned.
Project Management Training will be provided

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum eight (8) years of experience including field work.
BS in Environmental Science, Ecology, Biology, Geology, Hydrology, or a related field
Training in forest, wetland, and/or stream assessment
Working knowledge of ArcGIS
Proficiency in MS Office computer software (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook)
Water quality or environmental construction monitoring experience preferred.

NEPA compliance & environmental permit documentation, preferred.
Agency coordination and permitting experience, preferred but not required.
Good teamwork skills, self-motivation, and good communication skills are required.

Job Type: Full Time Hybrid

Salary: $85,000 to $100,000 plus attractive benefits
