Salary Range For This Position Is $59,000 - $90,000. Salary Range Is Based On Experience And Education Levels.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A Molecular Quality Assurance Technologist,

This role will primarily involve handling electronic and physical documentation, overseeing quality metrics and indicators, conducting internal audits, and upholding quality systems to ensure compliance with regulatory standards (CLIA, CAP, NY DOH). Additionally, a significant portion of the role will focus on executing laboratory quality tasks, including quality documentation, and metrics, providing regulatory support, and preparing for ongoing inspections.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Requirements
  • S. in a Biological Science, i.e., Chemistry, Biology, or Lab Science with 2-4 years of experience
  • Clinical Quality Assurance & Quality Management experience with a solid understanding of Clinical lab methodologies & general regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, Good Clinical Practice, CAP, CLIA, & CLEP NY state regulations.
  • Actively displays behaviors that support the mission, vision, and values of Castle Biosciences.
• Preferred Requirements
  • Knowledge of computers, spreadsheets, and databases for data management, analysis, & working with pivot tables/graphs, & IT, experience preferred.

SCHEDULE

• The role may require flexible shift starts to meet operational demands. However, during training, candidates are expected to adhere to the current technologists' schedule, beginning at 6:30 am
