Job Title: Senior Data Modeler
Duration: 6 months+ (with strong possibility of extension)
Location: San Jose, CA
Pay-rate: $60-70/hour on W2 (Depending on experience)

Senior Data Modeler – Job Description

Experienced data modelers with SQL/data modeling to define and create new data schemas for data ingestion for client Platform customers. Interface directly with enterprise customers, domain subject matter experts and collaborate with internal teams.

What you’ll do

• Interface with customers, partners as well as domain Subject Matter Experts to gather requirements, design data architecture solutions based on use cases & define out of the box Standard and/or customer specific Schemas.
• Leverage understanding of data relationships and schemas to structure data that enables clients to perform dynamic customer-level activation and analysis
• Strong collaboration with consultants in onshore & offshore teams.
• Leverage Experience Platform APIs and scripting languages to automate key processes governing data modeling and processing activities
• Review Pull Requests for Data Model, provide feedback and publish to official Repository.

Requirements

• 10+ years of Data Modeling experience (i.e. Relational, Dimensional, Columnar, Big Data) transactional systems or preferably Data Warehouses.
• 3+ years of complex SQL or NoSQL experience.
• Experience in advanced Data Warehouse and data architecture concepts.
• Some experience in industry ETL tools (i.e. Informatica, Unifi, SnapLogic)
• Experience with Business Requirements definition and management, structured analysis, process design, use case documentation
• Consulting Experience in data analysis/modeling related role.
• Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and ability to multi-task simultaneous different tracks.
• Must be self-managed, proactive and customer focused
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

Nice to have:

• Experience and exposure with HL7 FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) profiles and resources in order to map enterprise data or source data to appropriate FHIR resources.
• Experience with designing customer centric data models from multiple channels (i.e. Clickstream CRM, Call Center, Marketing, Offline, Point of Sale etc.) using JSON Schema Specification.
• Experience & knowledge with Cloud solutions
• Experience & knowledge with Digital Analytics or Digital Marketing
• Experience in programming languages (Python, Java or Bash scripting)
• Experience as an enterprise technical or engineering consultant
