Job Description
Specific Job Functions:
- Stock clean linen in Guest Room Attendants (GRA) locker room.
- Clear soiled linen from the linen chute.
- Use motorized carts to transport full and empty hampers from tower to linen dock and other departments.
- Assist in weighing-in hampers of clean linen from vendors.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment on the linen dock.
- Keep biohazard area neat, safe and clean.
- Identify and count soiled bed linen with complete accuracy.
- Fill out Soiled Bed Linen Count Forms with complete accuracy.
- Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department.
Qualifications:
- At least six months’ experience in Housekeeping or a similar environment preferred.
- Previous experience at a large resort preferred.
- Previous experience using a weight scale preferred.
- Professional appearance and demeanor a must.
- GED or high school diploma preferred.
