Job Description

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is currently looking for a CNC Machinist with 5-10 years’ experience. This is a Direct opportunity with an Electronic Sensors Company in Phoenix, AZ

Position: CNC Lathe/Mills Machinist

Responsibilities:

• Utilize engineering information to fabricate prototype components within specified tolerances.
• Set up and operate manual machinery including lathes, mills, drill presses, and surface grinders.
• Demonstrate expertise in machining complex precision parts.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Provide training to junior machinists and maintain a clean workspace.
• Ensure alignment and securement of fixtures, tools, and materials.

Requirements:

• ITAR compliance required.
• Proficient in reading engineering drawings and prints.
• Skilled in operating all machining equipment.
• Manual dexterity for intricate setups.
• Ability to work independently and follow procedures.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Team-oriented with adaptability and professionalism.
• Math shop
• GD&T, G-Code
• Mori Seiki, Nakamura, Haas, Matsuura
