Electronics Technician

- Assist Senior Technician in the assembly and wiring of a state of art Automated Test Station that tests avionics hardware.
- Contribute to build of Automated Test Systems consisting of commercial off the shelf test instrumentation.
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical assembly schematics to build testers.
- Removal/installation of instrumentation from Test Stations.
- Ability to run automatic test equipment following on-screen instructions.
- Assist in the assembly and build of Test Program Hardware (TPH).
- Prior experience building Interface Test Adapters and indoor/outdoor cable harnesses.
- Familiarity with the use of various crimp tools, label makers, heat guns, and general shop tools.
- Experience populating PCB's following schematic diagrams. Soldering through hole and surface mount components.
- Able to work independently with guidance from Senior Technician.
- Seeking detail oriented individual willing to learn in a demanding fast-paced environment. Ability to work on multiple projects at once, and able to manage time efficiently.
- Able to follow engineering processes, experience redlining drawings, and familiarity with Engineering Change Orders.
- Must possess excellent computer skills for parts receiving and inventory tracking.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
- 1 - 3 Years of Technician Experience
- Familiarity with basic electrical lab equipment.
- Proficient in use of Digital MultiMeter (DMM), Oscilloscope, and power supplies.
- Knowledge of basic Analog and Digital Components.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel.
- Must be capable of soldering, making cable repairs, and building new cables.
- Education Required:
- Certified Technician or 1-3 years job experience with Automatic Test Equipment.
- Certified Technician or 1-3 years experience.
- Shipping/Receiving of Electrical components.
- Familiarity with National Instruments products such as PXI Chassis, PXI controllers, and Instrument modules.
- Familiar with software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and PCB layout programs.
- Previous electrical troubleshooting skills within US military.
Ability to lift 25 lbs.
Digital Multimeter, Oscilloscope, PXI, Power Supplies (DC/AC), Function Generator, Force Gauge, accelerometers, Leak Detector.
None required but must possess ability to obtain Secret Clearance.
