QC Inspector

Knee brace company in Vista, CA seeking a QC Inspector!

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring materials are received and processed in compliance with company policies and procedures and being built in compliance with customer quality requirements.
• Provide guidance, as necessary, to junior department members.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Perform Inspections and generate reports as necessary.
• Perform Non-Destructive Examinations and measurements
• Read customer specifications and quality assurance manual
• Help during Audits, assist Authorized Inspectors and customer inspectors as needed
• Assist in training of new quality inspectors
• Collect and organize data for Device History Records
• Maintain organized quality control files
• Recommend improvements in quality procedures and equipment

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years experience in quality control or quality assurance role
• Medical device batch release experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
• Proficiency in using measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.

Monday-Friday, Saturday OT as needed

7:00am-3:30pm

Duration: 6 months

Pay: $19/hr
