Summer Intern Program- June 1st- Sept 1st

Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Will ensure orders meet quality requirements before shipment, as well as materials received meet purchase order guarantees.
• Assist Production and Logistics team with implementation and continuous improvement of quality Assurance System.
• Track and manage return merchandise authorization (RMA) processing both on the vendor side and customer side.
• Maintenance and quarantine inventory both physically and within ERP.
• Assists with creation and executes quality inspection checklists for all production lines.
• Perform equipment calibrations and workstation audits.
• Catalog quality inspection records for all production lines
• Review order verification reports versus physical orders and approves orders for shipment/crating.
• Manage Quality Certifications, working with engineering to stay compliant with current certifications.

• Currently enrolled in a college program focusing on quality, electronics or one year related experience.
• Completed college coursework in meat science, food technology, or agricultural science preferred.
• Manufacturing or machine shop experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Experience using a variety of precision measuring tools, including micrometers and calipers.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
