Maintenance Mechanic

We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various equipment and systems to ensure smooth operations. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Pay rate: $25p/h- Overtime Available

Schedule: open for second shift

Full-time/ temp to perm

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting equipment of production lines
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and make minor program adjustments on programmable logic controllers, parameter and/ or ladder logic based
- Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Follow schematics, blueprints, manuals, and other technical documents to perform maintenance tasks
- Conduct preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to minimize downtime
- Install special functional structural parts in devices not limited to: Lubricate and clean parts, and start a device to test its performance

- Records daily equipment performance in maintenance logbooks and maintains legible, accurate records of all maintenance testing activities and repair work performed

-Dismantle devices to gain access to detect imperfection

- Follows the implementation of safety, cGMP's, quality, environmental, and health regulations
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations

Requirements:
- Must be able to carry up to 25 lbs., lift up to 50 lbs., and push/pull > 100 lbs. (with the assistance of material handling equipment).
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time over an entire 8 or 12 hour shift.
- Must be able to climb ladders and stairs while wearing special gowning.
- May require bending, twisting, reaching overhead, and/or squatting motions to perform certain tasks.
- Must be able to work in controlled environments requiring special gowning.
- Basic electrical knowledge, including the ability to work with low voltage systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills in English
