Job Description

Duties:

Assist proceduralist during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular, neuro-interventional cases with scrubbing side by side with specialty proceduralist
Strong knowledge of Floor and ceiling-mounted fluoroscopic modality machines
The ability to identify, retrieve, and Circulate complex products during interventional procedural cases
The ability to critically think during neuro-interventional cases and complex cases to assist proceduralist
The ability to operate power injection of iodinated contrast media device during diagnostic and interventional procedures
Strong communication skills using closed-loop communication
The ability to maintain sterile technique and maintain infection prevention measures to set up procedural trays for caseload
Positively contribute to a multi-disciplinary team of with nurses, radiologists, and vascular surgeons
Knowledge of documentation in electronic medical records and send images to Sectra/PACs system
Groin management post-intervention
Demonstrate the ability to provide high-quality care in a fast -paced environment

Skills:

3-5 years of experience as an Interventional Radiologic technologist or a Cardio-Vascular technologist with NJ radiographic licensure.
The ideal candidate should possess familiarity with Y90 procedures, port placements, biliary interventions, PICC line insertions, neurointerventional cases, and vascular surgeries.
Additionally, hands-on experience with scrubbing in during interventional radiology procedures is required for this role.

Schedule Notes:

Candidate have to float endovascular OR suite, offsite location where IR cases are performed based on operational needs.
Candidate must be available working weekdays and weekends to include holiday on-call assignments.
Night call weekend 24-hour call requirements
Covid Vaccination Required along with the boosters
This role is similar to a cardiovascular technologist ( CVT) but MUST have radiographic licensure to operate x-ray fluoroscopic modalities.

Certification/License:

Certification with ARRT
NJ state License
AHA BLS

Shift timings: 09:00 am EST - 05:00 pm EST with weekends if needed

Hours Per Day: 8.00

Hours Per Week: 40.00

Days Per Week: 5.00
