Project Manager- Material Handling

Atlas Toyota Material Handling, part of the Atlas Companies, is currently hiring a full-time Project Manager- Material Handling to join our Team. Supplying Illinois, Southern and Western Wisconsin, Northwest Indiana, and Minnesota, Atlas has been a leading provider of Industrial Equipment and Material Handling Solutions for over 70 years.

We are seeking a talented systems designer to work on distribution and warehouse storage systems related projects in the Minnesota area. This role will also be responsible for prospecting potential customers for our warehouse storage systems.

Your new Role:

• Design, develop, and implement warehouse solutions per customer needs
• Create warehouse racking solutions that best utilize the customer’s space
• Understand project needs and complete drafts in a timely manner
• Work daily alongside project managers, salespeople, and coordinators to provide solutions to our customers
• Request vendor costs for materials needed
• Communicate quote back to the Atlas Sales Team to execute the sales process
• Communicate with customers to ensure satisfactory design/layout
• Oversee the complete install process
• Communicate with project team to ensure all necessary supplies are available

What You'll Need to Succeed:

• Previous design/product application experience in an industrial environment
• A working knowledge of project management techniques
• Previous B2B sales experience
• Knowledge of material handling storage solutions, mezzanines, modular offices, and basic forklift functions is a plus
• High degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with a small team daily
• Reliable mode of transportation for travel to project sites
