Job Description
What you will do:
- Providing specialized academic instruction to students with IEPs in both the learning center setting and general classroom.
- Supervising and directing para educators in the lesson facilitation process.
- Maintaining regular communication with all stakeholders including teachers, students, parents and administration.
- Managing a caseload as the IEP case manager in multiple grade level settings.
- Experience in teaching various grades from TK through 6th.
- Degree and/or certification in special education or related field.
- Prior experience as an Education Specialist working with students with IEPs.
- Experience supervising and directing para educators.
- Strong communication skills for maintaining regular communication with all stakeholders.
- Experience managing a caseload as an IEP case manager in various grade level settings.
