Collision/Body Shop Estimator

Young Chevrolet is seeking an experienced and skilled Collision Estimator to join our expanding and dynamic team! This individual's primary task is to provide an exceptional and successful customer experience while constructing estimates and coordinating repair procedures for the customers. The Collision Estimator must be meticulously oriented and work efficiently to meet the demands of deadlines.

Job Duties:

• Contacts and conducts inquiries with customers, investigates damaged vehicles to determine the extent of structural, body, mechanical, and interior damage. The Collision Estimator provides the customers with dependable and reliable information, guiding them through the repair process and providing them with excellent customer service.
• Completes evaluation to document damage and work/repair orders to identify components and materials necessary. The Collision Estimator calculates labor and painting expenses to determine the total cost of repairs.
• Examines the damage of vehicles and documents necessary for repairs and parts replacement from the damage appraisal. The Collision Estimator evaluates the quality of restoration work with the Technicians. If necessary, return vehicles for additional work if they do not comply with the quality standards.
• Communicates with insurance companies regarding the estimated cost of repairs and ensure payment.

Job Requirements:

• Advanced knowledge of vehicle mechanical procedures.
• Flexible hours and travel arrangements for transporting to various destinations.
• Prior CCC1, CDK, service and estimator experience required. Pay is based on experience.
• Exceptional Customer Service skills
