Hair Stylists Assistant - Richard Michael Salon

We pride ourselves on being a leader in the industry and providing great customer service to our clients and customers. We are located inside South Coast Plaza mall in the Crate & Barrel wing in Costa Mesa.

We are seeking someone who is serious about pursuing a career as a stylist in the hair industry, has a strong work ethic and is ready and enthusiastic to learn. The assistant position works directly for the owner and entails setting up the stations before and cleaning them after the owners day is done. You will apply color, shampoo, blow dry, provide make-up application and more. You will need to have excellent verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively prioritize and manage your time. The position requires the ability to start your day bright and early. Some days you may be required to arrive at the salon by 5:40 a.m. and overtime hours as needed.

Our goal is to create state of the art stylists who learn from and train with the best. Education is available for growth and the ability to build a clientele within the salon. You will receive on-site training directly from the owner and other stylists and learn to be the best with hair techniques and Aveda product knowledge.
