Radiology / Cardiology/X-Ray Tech (Night 7P -7A)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Radiology / Cardiology / X-Ray Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing radiographic and imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis of medical conditions. This position requires a strong understanding of radiology and cardiology procedures, as well as proficiency in operating imaging equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform radiographic and imaging procedures according to physician orders and department protocols.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including X-ray machines, fluoroscopes, and cardiac catheterization equipment.
- Follow established protocols for radiation safety and protection measures.
- Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure proper documentation of patient information and imaging results.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assist in the training and supervision of student technologists and other staff members.
- Stay current with advances in radiology and cardiology technology and participate in continuing education activities as required.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Additional certification in Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI) or Cardiovascular-Interventional Technology (CV) preferred for Cardiology Tech position.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Minimum of [insert number] years of experience in radiology or cardiology imaging.
- Strong technical skills and ability to operate imaging equipment effectively.
