JOB SUMMARY

A busy couple is hiring for a Private Housekeeper/Cook. This person will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of their home as well as preparing weekly meals that are healthy and gluten free.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• As needed housekeeping tasks: vacuuming, sweeping, emptying trash cans, dusting shelves, cleaning windows, mopping floors, changing linens
• Daily housekeeping tasks and light cleaning - load/unload dishwasher, maintain common areas of home, make beds, refresh bathroom linens and toiletry items, etc.
• Laundry - wash, fold, and iron (as needed) clothes and linens and keep laundry room neat and organized; manage dry cleaning items
• Meal preparation: coordinate and prep menu and cook healthy meals based on clients’ input - creativity is a must!
• Have food safety knowledge to properly handle and prepare different types of food along with effectively sanitizing surfaces and cooking equipment
• Grocery and household supply shopping

Qualifications

• Relatable prior experience
• Basic computer skills to manage meal plans/cleaning schedules, track expenses and communicate with clients
• Must be a self-starter who can work independently when guidance may be limited
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
