Job Description

General:

The Quality Control Clerk – is responsible to meet with other members of the QC Coordinators daily; follow up to ensure on-time and quality completion. Responsible for understanding all products and guidelines by working closely with the QC team as well as collecting all necessary project information to process samples. Provide support to QC team as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Process Sample QA forms as required
Updated Bindery and Mail status report daily
QC all samples produced in the Pressroom, Bindery & Mailroom
QC regular run in Pressroom, Bindery and Mailroom as scheduled - utilizing the QC Inspection report
Follow sample Excel documents
Band sample shipments when required
Other duties as assigned

Minimum Job Qualifications/Experience:

GED / High School Diploma
Minimum 3 years of QC experience in the printing industry, or equivalent combination of related experience is helpful
Ability to read and evaluate mailing job tickets
Basic knowledge of the principles and practices associated with direct mail is helpful
Knowledge of USPS regulations are helpful
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all Wilen departments
Ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing
Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and responsibilities
