Summary

Under the direction of the Beverage Control Supervisor, the Beverage Control Clerk is responsible for maintaining an accurate and efficient inventory of all beverage related products that supply the Beverage Department venues and bars. The Beverage Control Clerk plays a key role in ordering, stocking, tracking and creating and sustaining par levels. The BC Clerk helps with preventative maintenance on all bar equipment, inspections and health and safety.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Responsible for accurate and efficient inventory control of the Beverage Department.
  • Monitors and assists daily beverage receiving and requisitioning.
  • Ensures all beverage inventory is received, rotated, stored and issued in accordance with operational standards and processes to ensure cost and quality goals are met.
  • Ensures security of all beverage product and all policies, procedures and regulatory standards are being met.
  • Monitors inventory on a daily basis to ensure adequate supplies are on hand at all times to meet projected needs based upon established par levels.
  • Performs weekly inventory on high end product and end of the month inventory.
  • Must be physically present to work a regular, reliable, and predictable work schedule in accordance with business demands, and maintain a consistent and regular attendance record.
  • Perform special projects and other responsibilities, tasks, or duties as requested.

Education / Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years of age, or older.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • One (1) year beverage or inventory control clerk experience or any combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities required.
  • Must be able to provide evidence of eligibility to work in the United States of America.

Certificates, licenses and registration

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Soboba Tribal Gaming Commission license.
  • Required to submit to and obtain negative results on all drug and/or alcohol testing.
