Videographer/Editor/Producer

Job description for Hybrid Remote role:

MediaFuel is looking for a diverse Video Editor/Producer with motion graphics experience who will be editing, producing, and filming video for our agency clients. Priority will be editing long form, short form, and social media content in collaboration with the project’s director. Filming for social media content will be required on a project to project basis with some additional on set responsibilities as needed. This position reports to our Creative Director and Director. A strong online portfolio to your video work samples is required! Candidatesshould havea desire to learn virtual set design utilizing Infinity Set powered by Unreal Engine. Knowledge of computer graphics and studio production hardware builds is a plus. Background in studio broadcast production is a bonus.

This unique position is responsible for:

• Producing quality narrative driven video edits with tight deadlines
• Edit, shoot and produce high quality creative videos
• Collaborate with the agency team to produce the appropriate video story telling solutions for our clients
• Production: Filming content as needed, tailored for social media
• Post-production: editing short form and long form content for websites, youtube, vimeo and other platforms
• Encoding files for use with editing for social content platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc…
• Use After Effects and Photoshop to create animated graphics/text for video and static graphics marketing materials
• Collaborate with Director on management of video production studio
• Opportunity to assist on set as needed

Qualified Candidates will possess the following:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field
• At least 2 years of real world experience in a video production environment
• Have the ability to produce a variety of styles of videos and create innovative videos that communicate a brand style
• Excellent storytelling capabilities told through video
• Natural intuition to strip down a video and tell a story without losing emotion
• Social media focused skills and trends
• Complete knowledge and ownership of the production workflow
• Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to keep projects on deadline and on budget

• Excellent video editing skills
• Experience with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Media Composer, or Final Cut
• Able to record clean audio and produce professional-sounding edits
• Experience with Pro Tools, Adobe Audition, or Logic
• Graphic design skills with ability to create static and motion graphics
• Experience with Fusion, After Effects, or Motion
• Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
• Understanding of video analytics, particularly video views and viewer retention
• Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
• Expert experience in color-grading and typography
• Working proficiency with studio cameras, DLSR cameras, sound, and lighting equipment.
• Able to work successfully on team driven projects
• High emotional intelligence - ability to give and receive specific, constructive feedback
• Ability to perform under time-sensitive deadlines
• Ability to maintain organized project files and documented workflows
• A desire to help businesses big and small succeed
• Having your drone license is a plus but not required
• A passion for what you do
