Our Dispatch Team and Culture 

Our dispatch unit is a compact yet powerful crew of six individuals who operate around the clock to guarantee that every journey is executed flawlessly and exceeds our client's expectations. Depending on the shift timing, 1 to 2 dispatchers work together to meticulously oversee the trips scheduled for the day and organize future journeys. Each member of our dispatch team is equipped to work efficiently, whether as the only dispatcher during a shift or collaboratively during overlapping shifts with colleagues. Additionally, our dispatchers coordinate with the sales team, providing essential updates on driver and vehicle availability to our client advisors. Most of our dispatch team operates remotely, utilizing phone calls, instant

messaging, and video conferencing to maintain smooth communication among dispatchers. The Role

The core responsibilities of the dispatcher role are outlined as follows: 

• · Ensure all actions taken maximize service quality for ongoing trips 

• · Communicate with the Sales Team regarding Availability and Capacity 

• · Handle the organization of trips and driver schedules for the current day and week 

• · Support effective communication between drivers and clients as required 

• · Offer direction to support dispatchers when working in tandem with another dispatcher 

Dispatchers are expected to identify the most pressing priorities at any given time and swiftly transition between different tasks throughout their shift. In fulfilling these responsibilities, dispatchers will engage in activities such as: 

• · Coordinating and assigning drivers and vehicles to meet customer needs while enhancing service efficiency. 

• · Tracking vehicle locations and driver status in real-time to guarantee punctual arrivals and departures. 

• · Providing drivers with necessary instructions and updates, and promptly addressing any changes or challenges that emerge. 

• · Delivering exceptional customer service through responding to queries, resolving issues, and fulfilling special requests. 

• · Working closely with the Dispatch Manager and team members to refine scheduling and operational strategies. 

• · Facilitating the prompt dispatch of emergency support when necessary. 

• · Adhering strictly to company guidelines, safety standards, and legal regulations. 

• · Quickly reporting operational problems, delays, or incidents to the Dispatch Manager and devising strategies to prevent future occurrences.

Skills & Qualifications

• · High School Diploma 

• · Proficient in Verbal and Written English 

• · Familiarity with dispatching software and GPS tracking systems 

• · Prior experience as a dispatcher in the transportation or logistics industry is preferred 

• · Prior customer service experience preferred   

• · Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail 

• · Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
