Web Photographer

OVERVIEW

Web Photographer will perform a variety of duties focused on providing quality web product images for IV Media, ShopHQ.com and various social platforms. Duties will include product unpackaging, cleaning, styling, lighting, photography, retouching and uploading to hand over to our Product Set Up team.

Candidate will light and photograph ShopHQ product to Web Photography standards and complete all image processing and post-production duties. This includes color correcting, image retouching, cropping and use of proper naming conventions. Duties will also include other assigned Photography jobs including, model apparel shoots, company events, employee headshots…etc. Photographer will monitor email communications, assist in product requests, transportation, assembly, studio cleaning/organization and other related duties.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Light and Photograph company products to style standards
• Product assembly, cleaning, and basic styling
• Packaging/unpackaging of samples and transportation to and from Samples department
• File retouching, color correction, and image processing
• Monitoring of Photobase, photography workload tracking tool
• Monitoring of email communication and ensure prompt follow up on requests
• Requesting product pulls via Oracle requesting application
• Meet daily deadlines and communicate progress with management
• Work with Producers, Art Directors and Sales Managers to provide images to be used in graphics, animations, promotions and social media
• File archiving and image publishing duties
• Communicate with Buying teams on special photography requests
• Work with Item Management and QA teams on process, publishing, customer service, and quality assurance issues
• Assist or shoot other assigned photography assignments. Headshots, company events, guest shots, etc.
• Assist in apparel product prep, including steaming, outfit paring, and model direction
• Basic studio cleaning and organization duties as assigned
• Photography/lighting equipment maintenance including cleaning, testing, benchmarking, etc.
• Other duties as assigned
• In order to ensure service levels, it is essential that the individual in this role be able to work a regular and reliable schedule as provided by management.
• Given the significant responsibilities of this role, it is essential that this role be filled on a full-time basis only, and that the duties of this role be performed onsite at IV Media’s facility.

QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Associate’s degree (A.A.), or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3-5 years of experience in photography and studio lighting techniques
• Working skillset with professional DSLR cameras, lenses, and strobe lighting equipment
• Working knowledge of file processing, color theory, and image retouching in Adobe CC
• Outgoing personality and ability to work with various creative talent
• Organization skills and ability to stay on task while juggling multiple projects
