Pressman

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pressman to join our team. As a Pressman, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials. This is a critical role that requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate printing presses according to job specifications

- Monitor press runs to ensure quality and make adjustments as needed

- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing equipment

- Collaborate with the prepress team to ensure accurate color management and layout design

- Load and unload paper stock onto the press

- Maintain accurate production records

- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Pressman or similar role

- Proficient in operating CNC printing presses

- Strong knowledge of color management, typography, and layout design

- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and other graphic design software

- Ability to read and interpret job orders and technical specifications

- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Forklift certification is a plus
