This technique transfers ink from a plate to a rubber blanket and then onto the printing surface, such as paper. Offset printers are responsible for setting up the press, adjusting settings for quality, loading paper, and ensuring that the final printed materials meet specifications. They also perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to keep the press running efficiently.

Attention to detail, problem-solving, and effective communication are crucial soft skills for minimizing errors and ensuring production efficiency. These skills and qualities are essential to ensure high-quality printed materials, minimize downtime, and meet tight production deadlines.
