Your Mission

As a Printing Press Assistant, you will work alongside the pressman to ensure high-quality and efficient printing operations. Your responsibilities include loading paper into the printing press, preparing ink, maintaining machine cleanliness, assisting with lubrication, and supporting general press maintenance to keep production running smoothly.

Work Schedule
  • Full-time, fully air-conditioned warehouse position
  • Monday through Thursday, 5:45am - 4:15pm
Compensation
  • $16.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
  • Load paper into the printing press and ensure the correct materials are used.
  • Prepare and mix ink for printing jobs.
  • Assist the pressman in operating the printing press to produce high-volume, high-quality work.
  • Grease and clean the press to maintain smooth operation and extend equipment life.
  • Monitor print quality and make adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, especially around the press.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.


Requirements
  • Safety-conscious with the ability to work around machinery and handle tasks carefully.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
  • Willingness to learn how to operate a printing press.
  • Ability to operate a pallet jack and forklift (training provided).
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive, friendly attitude.
  • Team player who values collaboration and delivering quality work.
  • Mechanical aptitude or previous experience in manufacturing or machinery is a plus.
