What You’ll Get To Do

• Help make our projects more profitable.
• Ensure our financial goals match our business plans and find ways to save money.
• Maximize business performance by uncovering ways to use resources better.
• Manage cash flow to keep us financially stable and well-prepared for financial needs and unexpected expenses.
• Perform data analyses and develop financial strategies using Excel (or other software tools) to help the company grow.
• Explore the application of business intelligence to help convert data into real time information for our team.
• Use financial models to see how different scenarios might play out and manage risks.
• Keep our financial records organized and ensure our reports are clear and easy to understand.
• Partner with our outside CPA firm to confirm adherence to GAAP and lead all company audit and tax activities.
• Identify and evaluate growth opportunities by monitoring industry trends, market developments, and investment prospects, providing strategic recommendations for where and how to invest to drive business growth.

About You

• You genuinely enjoy the game of business. It brings you deep satisfaction to play a key role in a company's success and to see the meaningful impact of your efforts.
• You nerd-out in Excel (or other financial/data analysis tools) diving deep into large financial datasets, uncovering trends and insights, and turning numbers into actionable strategies. 
• While others might seek the stable pace of a large company, you love the idea of the ever-changing vibe of working in a young and small company that's growing quickly. You thrive on the excitement of adapting to new challenges, spotting opportunities, and finding ways to make things run smoother as the company expands.
• You think... no, you KNOW construction is cool.
• You have either or both:
  • A degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a closely related field
  • Experience working in a role focused on financial management, compliance, optimization, and growth
• You are tech savvy with accounting and financial software.
• You love to crunch numbers, but you're not just about data. You have a special ability to work with people with different points of view to reach solutions that everybody understands and respects.
