Condo Maintenance Technician (Westhampton Beach, NY)

Position Available: On-Site Condo Maintenance Technician

This on-site position requires the employee to adapt to a fast-paced working environment while being able to complete a variety of tasks in an organized and timely fashion. This position also requires strong interpersonal communication skills, the ability to deal with the high demands of the Condominium Owners and the willingness to adapt to the daily changing needs of the community. The candidate must possess an excellent driving record and current license.

The following is a brief summary of duties/responsibilities:

· This is a full-time position – 40 hour work week.

· Hours are:

-Monday & Thursday: 8am-4:30pm

-Tuesday & Wednesday: Off

-Friday, Saturday & Sunday: 9-5:30pm

-Possibility for O.T

· Keep all common areas clean and organized such as the garbage room, laundry room, storage area, walkways, hallways, steps, electrical room & super’s office.

· Water flowerpots and sea grass

· Rake beach areas and remove seaweed. Remove weeds at walkways

· Check and replace light bulbs as needed

· Sweep sand & remove cobwebs from hallways, runners & stairwells

· Clean parking lot & monitor unauthorized vehicles if necessary

· Assist owners with carrying luggage, groceries & miscellaneous items upon arrival

· Assist owners with beach chairs, umbrellas etc.

· Listen and respond to unit owners needs and requests for minor repairs: Move furniture, light bulb replacement, batteries, plunge toilet etc

· Allow access to vendors as needed: Pest control, appliance company, HVAC repair tech etc.

· Seasonal Maintenance: Storing and re-staging furniture, swapping out screens & storm windows, Battery & light bulb replacement

Job Requirements:

· Clean Driver's license (a must)
