Accounts Receivable Clerk

What You'll Do
The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for high volume wholesale accounts receivable transactions with retail customers.

• Perform administrative and clerical tasks, such as releasing orders and preparing customer invoices based on accounting procedures
• Enter new customers and maintaining the customers’ accounts
• Post customers payments by recording cash, checks, ACH, and credit card transaction
• Collection - contact customers as needed to ensure payment of outstanding invoices
• Research, investigate, and resolve account discrepancies to determine the accuracy of charges
• Assist department on special project as needed

What you'll need

• 1-5 Years of Accounts Receivable work experience
• High School Graduate or College graduate in Business Administration (preferred)
• Expert - level experience using productivity tools, such as Excel and outlook - Microsoft Office
• Strong collection experience
• Strong communication skills and the ability to handle potential tense interactions with sales reps and customers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
