CNC Programmer/operator 23+ An Hour 1st Shift

Paying 23+ an hour! Great benefits! Small shop doing custom orders!

Shift:

1st shift position!

Description:

plan machining by studying work orders, blueprints, material specifications,

references planes, location of surfaces & machining parameters

program mills by entering instructions, setting tool registers, offsets, compensation

& conditional switches

set up mills by installing and adjusting 3 & 4 jaw chucks, and attachments

load feed mechanism by lining stock into position; may requires cranes/hoists

verily settings by measuring positions

operate CNC mills maintaining specifications by observing, spooling and cutting

including turning, facing operations; taking measurements:

detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting & reprogramming controls.

sharpening & replacing worn tools

inspect parts o verily conformances to specifications

complete preventive maintenance procedures on equipment, troubleshoot

malfunctions, advise of need for repairs

maintain area & equipment in a neat & orderly condition

maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures & regulations

document & communicate actions, irregularities, malfunctions & continuing needs

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• 2 years experience programming & operating CNC mill
• ability to read blueprints & interpret material specifications
• knowledge of machining controls & instrumentation: machine maintenance
• standing 20-30% of the work day
