Bookkeeping Consultant/Trainer at BAR@548

This role is for a Bookkeeping consultant with expert Quickbooks Online knowledge and skills to help train our executive team. Consultant will be responsible for answering and helping with any set up and clean up questions or tasks in regards to maintaining our financial records. Emphasis on balance sheet and P&L reconciliation through improvements in areas such as chart of accounts, daily transactions categorizing, taxes, employees wages/tips, and any other areas that effect reporting.

Bookkeeper job duties include logging into a Zoom workspace while working closely with our executive team to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance. Must be extremely knowledgable and proficient with Quickbooks Online and how it integrates with Clover POS. Must have previous restaurant/bar bookkeeping experience.

Requirements and skills

• Proven bookkeeping experience
• Solid understanding of accounting principals as it relates to P&L's and balance sheet reports in Quickbooks Online
• Exceptional listening and critical thinking skills while under pressure
• Ability to meet timelines
• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
• Hands-on experience with Clover POS systems a must
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently while on a Zoom call

Schedule:

• Days & times negotiable but must be able to keep that schedule once set

Experience:

• Restaurant/bar bookkeeping: 5 years (Preferred)
• Bookkeeping: 5 years (Preferred)
• QuickBooks Online: 5 years (Preferred)
• Clover POS: (As it applies to bookkeeping) 2 years (Preferred)
• Accounting experience a plus

Work Location: Consulting/Virtual

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $25.00 - $30.00/hour.
