AutoCAD Designer/Drafter

Fieldstone Family Homes, Inc is an established custom residential new construction home Builder in the Twin Cities and Western Wisconsin market.  We have a full-time AutoCAD Designer/drafter position available in our Burnsville, MN office.  This position is NOT a remote/work from home position.  This is NOT an entry level position. 

AutoCAD/Draftsman

·         Read, understand, and adjust/alter construction plans to meet MN and WI State Building Codes

·         Deign and draft residential structures from the foundations to the roof including framing layouts for each level and cut sections through the structure by using AutoCAD or other digital drafting software.

·         Clearly illustrate and dimension drawings of assemblies as required

·         Interact with Structural Engineers and Project Managers to draft Custom and Semi-Custom residential projects.

·         Efficiently provide drawings and section details with sufficient information and support to assist subcontractors during construction

·         Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

·         Architectural Drafting and Design AAS Degree Required

·         Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite software Required

·         5+years of residential drafting and detailing experience preferred

·         Ability to clearly illustrate and dimension drawings

·         Organizational skills to multiple projects while meeting deadlines

·         Highly detail-oriented with good technical writing/verbal skills
