Laundry Attendant

We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation in our facilities. We are excited to announce we are accepting applications full-time closing laundry attendant. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure cleanliness of store and equipment at all times:

Sweep and dust daily
Clean washers and dryers inside and out
Pick up any debris
Mop up any liquid spills
Clean dryer lint cleaning daily.
Ensure store closing procedures are properly followed.
Process customer laundry

Accept laundry from walk in customers and delivery drivers
Inspect and inventory laundry. Affiix identfication tags to laundry items.
Enter laundry order into POS and collect cash or credit card payments
Wash, dry and fold customer laundry as iinstructed
Package cusrtomer order, place in designated storage areas and update POS to show order location
Provide customer support and assistance

Respond to customer questions, both in person and over the phone
Provide instructions on machine usage to walk in customers
Provide refunds per company guidelines
Assist customers with loading / unloading laundry into their vehicle as necessary
Customer service and problem solving skills
Friendly, courteous, assertive, organized with a high attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers
Comfortable lifting bags of laundry 
Ability to sort out laundry by similar fabrics

Ability to fold high volume laundry

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be fluent in English - Spanish is a plus!
18 years or older
Excellent customer service and problem solving skills
Friendly, courteous, assertive, organized with a high attention to detail
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers
Comfortable lifting bags of laundry weighing up to 45 lbs
Ability to fold high volume laundry
Ability to sort out laundry by similar fabric
Basic computer skills
Well kept appearance
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Be able to pass a background test

ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
Previous laundromat experience is a plus
