Framing Carpenter / Skilled Laborer

Are you a skilled carpenter looking to join a dynamic framing team in Weston, WI? We are seeking a dedicated individual to play a crucial role in constructing the framework for new residential projects.

The skilled laborer will be responsible for assisting with various tasks on home building sites, including but not limited to, operating machinery, performing basic carpentry, and ensuring worksite safety. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in construction, specifically in framing, proficiency in using a variety of tools and equipment, reading of blueprints is a plus, and a strong work ethic is required.

$42,500 - $45,000 annual depending on experience

• Measuring, cutting, and assembling structural beams, walls, and roofs using various tools such as saws, hammers, and nail guns.
• Ensuring precise measurement and layout of building designs with problem-solving skills and attention to detail to meet safety standards and building codes.
• Demonstrating physical stamina and the ability to work at heights while interpreting blueprints and construction plans accurately.
• Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites, including erecting and dismantling temporary structures.
• Load and unload materials and equipment from trucks and delivery vehicles.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Perform general maintenance tasks, such as cleaning tools and equipment, organizing materials, and disposing of waste.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and subcontractors to coordinate work activities and ensure project deadlines are met.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
• The ability to lift 50+ lbs is necessary for performing job duties effectively.
• Having reliable transportation with a clean driving record is a must.
• Excellent communication skills are essential for interacting with team members and supervisors.
• Previous framing experience would be beneficial for this role.
