Framing Carpenter – Build High-Quality Residential Structures with Royal Framing


Job Overview

The Opportunity

You will play a vital role in executing high-quality residential framing projects. This position offers the chance to showcase your craftsmanship on dynamic layouts while working alongside an experienced field operations crew. You will have a direct impact on turning blueprints into structural realities for modern living spaces.


How You Will Make an Impact

  • Interpret structural blueprints and shop drawings to execute precise layouts.
  • Construct and assemble wood and metal framing for floors, walls, and roofs.
  • Utilize advanced carpentry tools safely to maintain exact framing tolerances.
  • Measure, cut, and shape building materials to minimize project waste.
  • Verify structure alignment using levels, lasers, plumb bobs, and framing squares.
  • Maintain an organized and safe workspace in full compliance with safety codes.
  • This is a full outdoor, high-heat environment


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience working as a framing carpenter on residential construction sites.
  • Experience with rough residential framing is needed.
  • Strong ability to read architectural blueprints and layout houses independently.
  • Full proficiency with standard hand and power carpentry tools.
  • Must know how to set trusses from truss layout and set floor joists. These are non-negotiables.
  • Ability to work onsite in Ranson, West Virginia and stand for extended periods.
  • Must be a W-2 employee
  • Must be US Citizen or have Worker Authorization Card


Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • 5 years of related residential framing experience.
  • Prior experience with townhouse construction and panelized framing systems.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of regional residential building codes.


Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive weekly pay cycle with overtime opportunities at $52.50 per hour.
