Entry Level Buyer Purchasing Agent

Automotive Parts Manufacturer is seeking a Jr/ Entry Level Buyer Purchasing Agent to train and join their Purchasing team!

• Have finance or accounting education or relevant experience to financial and cost analysis?

Summary:

• Starting Pay: 420/hr
• Work Schedule: 8am-5pm M-F
• This is an office position (not remote)

What will I be Doring?

• Assist with generating comprehensive cost estimates to drive decision making.
• Maintain strategic supplier relationships that exist with Trensor.
• Assist with supplier product approval process.
• Assist with executing purchase orders and handle purchases quickly and without error. Communicate order status to internal customers and coordinate delivery logistics.
• Aid in sourcing critical items, working directly with global sourcing specialists and other internal customers.
• Produce periodic reports as instructed.
• Add other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent and currently enrolled in a 4-year Bachelor’s program from an accredited college or university.

Preferred Qualifications include:

• Hands-on experience through lab research, finance project teams, prior internship, or bookkeeping work experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment, accomplishing tasks with limited resources at a rapid pace.
• Intermediate skill level using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Excellent written communication skills working with suppliers of various nations.
