Job Description
The CSI Companies is actively seeking a Labor and Delivery Nurse for our client located in the Providence, RI area.
We are looking for someone who is available to work the following hours:
• 12 hr – 7p – 7a
• 8 hr – 11p – 7a
Details:
The Labor and Delivery Nurse works on a team with RN's that serve as Antenatal, Mother/Baby and General Women's Services team members
Duties:
- These RN’s need to be comfortable with starting inductions, especially for those patient populations that are in high-risk circumstances
- Each shift, the RN’s typically are assigned 3-4 patients to care for
- Designated baby-friendly hospital, so they need to feel comfortable in that environment
- This is a Designated Teaching Hospital as well, so they will encounter and serve with a lot of Residents during their shift
Requirements:
- BLS certification is required
- BCLS is not required, but is highly desired
- NRP certification is required
- MUST have LDR experience, and Cervical Ripening experience
