Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) โ€“ 13-week travel nurse contract in Ontario, Oregon (97914). Seeking experienced L&D RNs with BLS to deliver exceptional obstetrics, maternal-newborn, and fetal monitoring care on 12-hour night shifts.

Job Requirements
  • Active RN license (Labor & Delivery specialty required)
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience (OB nursing, maternal-newborn care)
  • Current BLS certification
  • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
  • Compliance with onboarding requirements (background check, health screenings, competency testing)
Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum
  • Continuous fetal monitoring and interpretation of fetal heart tracings (electronic fetal monitoring/EFM)
  • Monitor patient vitals, maternal assessment, and newborn transition
  • Assist with deliveries and support physicians and midwives during labor and birth
  • Administer medications, IV therapy, and follow physician orders as needed
  • Educate patients and families on postpartum care, breastfeeding, and newborn health
  • Maintain accurate documentation, charting, and uphold patient confidentiality and safety standards
