This Travel Nurse opportunity is ideal for experienced L&D RNs seeking meaningful OB nursing work in a vibrant medical community.

Job Details — Labor & Delivery RN (Travel Nurse)
  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 - $2,250
  • Location: Boston, MA 02115 — Boston healthcare, top hospitals, diverse neighborhoods, and easy access to arts, dining, and outdoor activities
  • Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 19, 2026)
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
  • Shift: 3x12 hour shifts, Day/Night Rotator, Every Other Weekend
  • Employment Type: Travel (Travel Nurse / Travel Nursing)
  • Number of Positions: 6 openings
  • Work Setting: On-site — Labor & Delivery (L&D), OB nursing, postpartum and newborn care)
Requirements & Qualifications — Labor and Delivery RN
  • Active RN license in Massachusetts (MA RN license required)
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience (L&D RN / OB nursing)
  • Labor and Delivery nursing certification preferred
  • Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
  • Ability to work rotating day/night shifts and every other weekend
  • Must complete onboarding requirements: background check, health screenings, skills checklist, references, education verification, etc.
Key Responsibilities — L&D Registered Nurse
  • Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum
  • Monitor maternal and fetal status, interpret fetal monitoring, and respond to changes in patient condition
  • Administer medications, assist with delivery procedures, and support OB teams during cesarean and vaginal births
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (OB physicians, midwives, neonatal staff) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and families about postpartum care, breastfeeding, and newborn health
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold hospital standards for safety and quality
