Title: Sales Account Executive
Compensation: Starting at $65,000
Location: New Brunswick, New Jersey
Role Description
We're about Teamwork! We have successfully created effective teams to solve our clients' problems. As an integrated distributor of laboratory supplies, unique services, and self-manufactured products, we seek someone with a can-do attitude to find solutions for our clients. The individual contributor role is for a Sales Account Executive position.
The Account Executive will maximize our service department's sales revenue growth. To accomplish this, (s)he is responsible for generating new service leads and converting them into sales, maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients, and achieving service sales targets. The successful candidate must be a self-starter with a passion for sales and customer success and comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
What You'll Do
• Work in parallel with Service Operations to identify markets, develop leads, and generate Service sales.
• Directly sell Service products and manage all stages of the sales cycle.
• Use Professional, Consultative, and Strategic Selling skills to develop additional business in existing accounts and develop the relationships to find and grow new accounts.
• Develop a business plan for Service markets, monitor and report progress regularly, and provide updates to the Service Director.
• Work effectively with Service Operations to support the business.
• Prepare Service Bid documents, negotiate pricing as required, review and update the Service Sales process, and produce OE, pipeline, and hit rate reports for responsible accounts and territory for the Service Director.
• Develop and manage relationships with personnel in other departments as required to support Service Sales responsibilities.
• Forecast and project Service Sales by managing and updating Dynamics CRM.
• Utilize Dynamics CRM to manage customer account base, qualify sales leads, answer inquiries, and maintain accurate records of activities.
What You'll Bring to The Table
• Bachelor's degree (marketing, business, communication, or education preferred).
• 3-8 years' sales experience, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
• Sales experience in government, healthcare, clinical labs, or field service is preferred.
• Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
• Strong team player and ability to manage complex interpersonal relationships.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to build, develop, and grow networks for B2B sales.
• Experience with CRM systems.
• Self-motivated and able to communicate business development needs.
• Ability to travel for client meetings and industry events as needed.
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision within specified time frames.
