We are seeking a strategic financial professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is deeply familiar with the development or construction industries.

Job Overview: As the Controller Accounting Manager and Financial Analyst at Roderick Builders, you will play a critical role in steering the company’s financial strategy and operations. This position combines accounting expertise with analytical acumen, directly influencing decision-making on investments and hiring. Working closely with the CEO and project managers, you will ensure financial health through meticulous management and reporting of budgets and financial projections.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain timely financial reports and pro forma statements.
Conduct financial analysis and make projections to guide strategic decision-making.
Manage bank draws for ongoing projects, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Collaborate with the CEO and project managers to report on job budgets and monitor financial performance.
Assist in hiring processes and job analysis to align with company’s strategic goals.
Potential involvement in project estimating and financial planning (preferred but not required).

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CPA certification is highly preferred.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a financial role within the development or construction industry.
Proficient in creating detailed financial reports, proformas, and projections.
Strong analytical skills and ability to work with complex financial data.
Excellent collaboration skills, with experience working alongside high-level executives and project teams.
Familiarity with construction or project-based accounting software is an advantage.
Experience in estimating and budget management is beneficial but not mandatory.
