Strategic Communications Internship - Two Rivers Marketing

That’s because you’re an organized go-getter who takes pride in their attention to detail. You’re ready to hit the ground running in the “real world” and start creating positive brand experiences.

As a Strategic Communications Intern at Two Rivers Marketing, you’ll work across the agency to assist with the execution of our clients’ public relations strategies. You’ll gain real experience and have opportunities to suggest content ideas and give feedback on marketing initiatives. The internship is offered for a semester with the possibility to extend the internship based on availability.

WHAT OUR STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS INTERN WILL DO ONCE THEY’RE HERE

• Assist with the execution of public relations strategies for a variety of clients, including writing media announcements and press releases
• Provide strategic input and feedback on marketing initiatives
• Suggest innovative ideas for engaging content
• Assist in the management of content across social media platforms and websites
• Build long-term relationships with relevant stakeholders
• Conduct research and perform market analysis
• Manage and update media lists and databases
• Complete administrative duties, including scheduling and coordinating events

WHAT OUR STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS INTERN WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

• Current enrollment in BS or BA in public relations, communications, journalism, or relevant field
• A passion for and true interest in the public relations industry
• Strong interest in working at a marketing and advertising agency
• Applicable knowledge of copywriting and editing
• Understanding of AP Style
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
• Outstanding attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management
