Insulation Crew Leader

Full Job Description

The Role:

The ideal candidate will successfully lead insulation installation team and complete the projects on time, safely and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule with customer and provide overview of the job scope
• Dense pack wall insulation either from exterior or interior
• Install Insulation - attic (blown-in or fiberglass), floor, kneewall and foundation or crawl space
• Install ASHRAE attic fans
• Weatherstrip doors and windows
• Install ventilation as per standards
• Lead and manage the crew
• Provide estimates for customers.
• Pull inventory and ensure all materials are available to complete the job.
• Document completion of finished jobs.
• Maintain a clean job site.
• Communicate job status to management to assure the successful completion of all jobs.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to provide the perfect experience throughout the process.
• Additional duties required as needed not limited to solar, remodeling and other construction activities

Job Requirements:

• Reliable transportation to arrive at work on time
• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Walk, stand, and/or sit for an entire shift or can work in confined spaces.
• Grasp, grip, reach, pull, push, bend, squat, kneel or balance
• Ability to maintain good team environment to work in challenging environments (hot sun, cold, wind, tight spaces, etc.).
• To safely handle tools and materials commonly found in the construction and solar industries, such as: ladders, inverters, solar panels, panel boards and other similar electrical equipment, lumber, roofing materials, etc.

Experience:

• At least 5 years of industry experience as crew leader 
• Insulation installing experience - 4 years
• Use of Power Tools: 4 year (Preferred)
• Roofing: 1 year (Preferred)
• Dry wall or carpentry work: 1 year (Preferred)
• Construction: 6 year (Preferred)
• Electrical Wiring and Bending Conduit: 1 year (Preferred)

Job other requirements:

• Valid drivers license and clean record
• Should pass background verification
• Strong work ethic, safety, job cleanliness and pleasant demeanor·
• Vehicle
• Tools
• OSHA 10 and other industry certifications

Pay: $20-$26 depending on experience

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
