REGIONAL INSULATION SALES MANAGER 

POSITION SUMMARY

As the Regional Insulation Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and profitability growth in the insulation market through a wide array of insulation-related products within a multi-state territory.  The Regional Insulation Sales Manager role proactively engages with both new and potential customers as well as maintaining relationships with existing customers.  This role serves as the insulation expert for the customer.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Manage and create an insulation sales strategy in a multi-state defined geographic area.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels including cold calling, networking, and industry referrals.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with contractors, builders, property managers, and other various potential customers.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, or annual insulation products sales targets.
  • Conducts customer visits and assessments to understand the customer needs and recommends insulation solutions.
  • Provide detailed product information and technical advice to customers.
  • Build and maintain strong long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Stay up to date with the latest insulation products, technologies, and industry trends.
  • Represents the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the brand and generate new business opportunities.
  • Maintain up to date record of sales activities, customer interactions and status through CRM system.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Strong understanding of insulation products and their applications.
  • Strong sales acumen- proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in the building materials industry preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driver’s record.
  • Willingness to travel as needed. 
  • 5-10 years of sales experience in B2B environment, preferably in the insulation industry. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
