Job description

Outside Sales Representative – New Construction Insulation

Location: Greater Kansas City Area

Pay: Base Salary + Uncapped Commission (Top performers earn a strong six-figure income.)

Overview:

We're looking for a motivated, relationship-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our growing team serving new residential construction builders throughout the Greater Kansas City area.

This position is ideal for someone with construction or outside sales experience who enjoys building relationships, managing projects from estimate to completion, and working independently. You'll partner directly with home builders, prepare project estimates, coordinate scheduling, and ensure every job is completed successfully.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new construction home builders.
  • Prepare accurate insulation estimates from construction plans.
  • Sell insulation services and schedule projects.
  • Coordinate schedules and work scopes with the Operations team.
  • Manage customer communications and follow-up throughout each project.
  • Track customer interactions using company software.
  • Stay current on industry products, building practices, and installation methods.
  • Help ensure projects are completed on time and exceed customer expectations.

What We're Looking For

  • Outside sales and/or construction industry experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret residential construction plans.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organization and time management.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Ability to learn company software.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to safely navigate active residential construction sites.
  • Must be able to climb ladders, crawl, bend, duck walk on floor joists, and move throughout unfinished homes.
