  • This is a position with our Silvercote Division!

    Silvercote, a Service Partners company, manufactures high quality metal building insulation products customized to project specifications. Our business is made to order and working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment is essential in order to meet customer needs. You are empowered to lead and find solutions that solve problems and drive success. Across our North American network of branch locations, our sales, production, warehouse and customer support teams provide top notch service and deliver the best products to our customers. (This position will cover West Texas and will require travel)

    Your Responsibilities

    We are seeking an ambitious, Metal Building Insulation Sales Representative looking to help our fast-growing business grow even faster. If you are a top performer, want to manage your own territory, and produce at the highest pace with uncapped earnings; this is what you've been looking for.

    The Metal Building Insulation Sales Representative will represent our metal building insulation and building products distribution division, while aggressively growing sales and promoting our brand.

    • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

    • Independently manage existing accounts while actively prospecting and developing new business within the assigned territory.

    • Demonstrates excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills; both verbal and written.

    • Proficient in computer systems for processing and reviewing orders, customer requests, and system-generated acknowledgements.

    • Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.

    Your Skills

    • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Self-motivated with a strong drive to win, grow territory, and take ownership of results.

    • Personable and Engaging: Enthusiastic communicator with the ability to build strong relationships and connect with a wide range of customers.

    Your Qualifications

    • Proven Sales Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of successful outside sales experience, preferably in the construction or building materials industry.

    • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with general contractor operations and the construction industry is strongly preferred.

    • Building Science Understanding: Knowledge of building envelopes and commercial insulation is a plus.

    • Blueprint Literacy: Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.

    • Driver's License Requirement: Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to operate a vehicle on behalf of the company.

    • Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.

    Education

    • Bachelor's degree or some college preferred.

    THIS IS A SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION

    Travel Requirements

    Flexibility to cover a territory within assigned territory with up to 75% overnight travel.

    Physical Requirements

    • Work is performed in various environments including construction installation sites and warehouses, and may involve activities such as climbing, stooping, balancing, kneeling, crawling, bending, lifting, driving, and prolonged periods of sitting or standing.

    • Must be able to safely use ladders as needed.

    • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Compensation Range
