The Housekeeping Team in Stowe, VT, US collaborates to ensure a top-notch experience for our esteemed guests by maintaining impeccably clean spaces that go beyond their expectations. Each Houseperson, whether working alone or with a partner, plays a crucial role in assisting Housekeepers with various tasks, such as sanitizing and revitalizing common areas and hallways, as well as upholding the cleanliness of public zones within the property.

Responsibilities also encompass restocking housekeeping supplies in employee and guest closets, removing used items from guest rooms and placing them in designated areas, supervising the laundering of linens and fabrics, and ensuring outdoor areas are free of clutter and hazards by clearing snow and other obstructions. The successful completion of these duties requires exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of independence.

$17 - $19 hourly

• Maintain a professional appearance by wearing a clean uniform at all times.
• Utilize provided supplies to clean and upkeep guest rooms and public spaces, ensuring they are fully stocked with linens, towels, and amenities.
• Operate commercial laundry equipment, including washers and dryers, and properly manage linen inventory.
• Greet guests warmly and respectfully, being knowledgeable about room amenities and property operations.
• Address guest requests, special needs, and complaints in a courteous and professional manner.
• Follow guidelines for working with cleaning chemicals and adhere to safety regulations.
• Keep storage areas clean and well-supplied, collaborating with team members for efficient workflow.
• Ensure outdoor areas are safe and clutter-free by removing snow and obstacles.
• Handle lost and found items according to property procedures.
• Protect the property's assets and maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the premises.

• Frequent walking, bending, balancing, stooping, reaching, pushing, lifting, manual dexterity and repetitive motions. May require the ability to work on uneven outdoor surfaces, move and arrange furniture and turn mattresses
• Manually handle/lift/carry product up to 35 pounds between knee and shoulders
• Must have bilateral fine manipulation of both hands which may be repetitive for the entire shift
• Must be vertically mobile working in limited space for the entire shift
• Frequent stair-climbing
• Working in extreme temperatures and conditions both indoors and out
• Schedule varies according to operational needs; may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and split shifts
• Frequent hand-washing
• Valid Driver's License is a must
• Hazards include, but are not limited to Covid-19, lifting injuries, exposure to unsanitary materials, slips, and tripping
