Core Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier-2 IT support by addressing assigned tickets.
  • System/Software Support and Implementation
  • Maintain 99% System Uptime
  • Security and At-Risk User
  • Document Changes and Process in Knowledge Base

What will you be doing in your role?

  • Tier 2 Support: Provide support as a Tier 2 resource by troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist help desk technicians and the rest of the IT team as needed.
  • System Support: Support Windows Servers in a Hyper-V environment, Domain Controller, Active Directory, and Print server.
  • System Implementation: Implement, install, configure, monitor, troubleshoot, and evaluate existing and new operating systems and software solutions.
  • Office 365 Administration: Administrate Microsoft Office 365, including user administration, Microsoft Entra ID security, SharePoint, Intune, etc.
  • Endpoint management: Manage endpoint policies and software deployment.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot network, server, and operating system issues.
  • System Updates: Ensure all system patches are up to date.
  • System Security: Address compromised accounts and audit security events.
  • System Backups: Review system backups for integrity and reliability.
  • Vendor Collaboration: Work with 3rd party vendors, support, and contractors as necessary.
  • Documentation: Assist in keeping documentation up to date.
  • Training: Help train IT team and end users when necessary.
  • Special Projects: Work on special projects and other tasks as needed.

Are you the next IT System Administrator?

  • Education: Bachelors preferred
  • Technical Certifications: Possess relevant certifications such as A+, Security+, Network+, etc.
  • Office 365 Administration: Minimum of 3 years of experience administering the Microsoft Office 365 environment.
  • Windows Server Administration: Minimum of 3 years of experience administering Windows Server environments.
  • End User Support: At least 4 years of experience providing technical assistance and resolving technical issues for end users.
  • Network Administration: Experience troubleshooting Network issues.
  • PowerShell Experience: Familiarity with PowerShell scripting preferred.
  • Attention to Detail: Be detail-oriented and well-organized.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service and communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Hybrid position: Has potential for some remote workdays and will require some in-office time.

  • Full-Time position with a starting hourly range of $25-$27. Pay is determined by relevant experience, work history, education and internal equities.
