Job Description

We are seeking a preschool aide to join our organization!

Responsibilities:

Interact with preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
Maintain a fun and safe learning environment
Support the teachers in the schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
Maintain the health and safety of all students
Help with snacks and lunch, extracurricular classes, and transitions
Support parents in the potty-training process

Qualifications:

Previous experience in childcare or other related fields
Passionate about working with children
Ability to build rapport with children and parents
Positive and patient demeanor
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Minimum of 6 units of Early Childhood Education with more planned to be completed (can be currently enrolled)
Be able to pass a fingerprint and background check
Professional, energetic, empathetic, works well with others

Hourly Rate based on qualifications, experience, and training, $17-19/hour. Please provide references with a resume.

Online training may be required prior to starting. The position starts in June.
